I am delighted to recommend Meghan Malone as a provider of library programming for young children. In Fall 2021 my library experienced a staffing shortage in the Children's department. We engaged Meghan to present two half-hour storytimes for ages 0-5, with caregivers, on Tuesday mornings for a period of three months. Meghan was always prepared for her programs, arrived early, and communicated well with us. She has a great knowledge of children's literature and uses current sources for music and storytime activities. Additionally, she was flexible: she offered storytime both outside and inside, depending on weather, she was happy to work with all of our safety parameters, and she rolled with the punches when a group had the room reserved or the technology was new.
But the real story is about the families - who packed her programs each Tuesday, loved her stories and songs, and returned week after week to see what silly fun Ms. Meghan had in store. She even dressed up for Halloween: as Ms. Frizzle from The Magic School Bus! We are big Meghan Malone fans in Milton and would enthusiastically urge you to hire her to present programming at your library.
